Joe Lynam is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive Global Fintech startup and operating experience. Prior to Verrency, Joe was the Co-founder of xPressTap and Founder of PaymentOne Corp and VRS Billing Systems (Acquired by AT&T). Joe is an Inc. 500 alumnus and holds 11 patents supporting his work in mobile commerce, mobile wallets, data analytics and authentication technologies.

Aaron joins Verrency with a long career in payments, with both MasterCard and Visa in the Middle East and Asia.  Aaron has worked with two Fintech exits Utiba (exit to Amdocs) and Fundamo (exit to Visa), and is a Director of Next Money and a Board Member of Vaultbank, a blockchain based bank.

He has previously worked in leadership positions in the payments area with a bank, technology companies and outsourced card processors, including Barclaycard and TSYS. Peter lives in London and is fluent in several European languages

David is a business development executive, growth strategist, and payments expert, with deep experience in SaaS, API & online marketplace businesses. In the last two years, David has helped start and scale several fintechs in the Australian market, including US processing platform, i2c, and Reinventure-backed startup, Doshii.  Prior to that, David spent six years at GE Capital in a range of cards roles, including product, mobile & strategy.

Dan brings over 10 years experience in defining and executing strategic plans across growth, innovation and organisation transformation. He has worked with some of Asia Pacific’s largest financial services and telecom providers. He previously led Telstra’s Consumer Strategy team and a Senior Manager in Accenture’s Financial Services Strategy group

Mike is founder and former CEO of clearXchange (now Zelle). Previously, Mike was Executive Vice President at Wells Fargo, leading emerging payments. He studied Industrial Engineering at Stanford and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Simon Stephenson

Scheme, Issuer & Technology Specialist

Simon has over 35 years global experience in the payments industry. He spent 15 years in global senior leadership roles within MasterCard across Asia, Europe and the US, served as CEO of Strategic Payments Services and also worked extensively in the area of real-time payments/ EFT development and implementation.

Greg Devlin

Issuer & Scheme Specialist

Greg is a senior executive with over 37 years industry experience in development and delivery of payment services across Asia/Pacific. He has held senior leadership roles at American Express, Chase AMP Bank, Citibank, Keycorp, MasterCard International and Bendigo and Adelaide Bank. Greg has also participated on number of boards and industry working groups in the payments industry.

Howard Elliott

Howard has been in the IT industry for over 25 years since leaving academia. He has filled senior management roles in MasterCard, CBA, Westpac, Telstra and Optus where he was involved with the implementation and management of strategic electronic commerce products. Howard’s technical expertise includes electronic commerce, payment systems, telecommunications and internet technology. He also currently sits on a number of other boards.

Tony is a former Chase merchant banker and has worked with Allco and McIntosh Stockbroking before running mergers and acquisitions for Sausage Software. He has wide experience of business purchases and disposals.

David has over 30 years of experience in the payments industry specializing in payments, messaging and systems architecture. He has held diverse senior payments technology leadership roles, including serving as CTO for Cuscal and CIO for SPS, as well as many other technology leadership roles, covering the US, Australia and Asia.

Michael Walters

Payments Industry Expert

Michael founded and led littlepay, a leading provider of open-loop transport payments, and prior to that was the Portfolio Manager / Executive Director for Allectus Capital, managing an AUD 400 million global fintech portfolio. Previously Michael was the COO of travel industry virtual card provider eNett, following 9 years as a Director / Partner of global payments consultancy, Edgar, Dunn & Company. Michael is also a Non-Executive Director of PayNet, the operator of the national payments system and financial markets infrastructure for Malaysia – jointly owned by the central bank and national banks.
